285GrC belongs to the American standard steel plate for pressure vessels, the implementation standard :ASTMA285/A285M-03.

285GrC delivery status: generally for hot rolling, controlled rolling, normalizing, high temperature tempering, etc. : inspection, Z15-Z35 thickness direction performance requirements, high strength and high toughness requirements of steel plates. PS: The specific delivery status shall be indicated in the contract according to the customer's request. Usually delivered in rolling condition, orders can also be placed in stopper or stress relief treatment or normalizing plus stress relief treatment.

A285GrC standard steel plate has three different steel grades, SA258GrA, SA258GrB ,SA258GrC.

SA285GrC is used in the manufacture of steel for pressure vessels in petrochemical, gas separation and gas storage and transportation equipment. It is required to have sufficient strength and toughness, good welding performance and cold and hot processing performance. Commonly used steels are mainly low-alloy high-strength steel and carbon steel.
