304 (GB: 06Cr19Ni10, 18-8 austenitic stainless steel) is the most widely used standard stainless steel pipe on the market. With a balanced chromium-nickel-gold ratio, it automatically generates a dense passivation anti-corrosion layer on the surface, offering four core advantages: corrosion resistance, hygiene and safety, high temperature resistance, and ease of processing.
The pipe materials are divided into three categories: seamless industrial pipes, welded fluid pipes, and decorative polished pipes. They come in a wide range of specifications and support various surface finishes such as sandblasting, mirror finish, and acid washing. They can be cut, bent, welded, and drilled for customized processing.

Key Material Differences:
304 Standard Stainless Steel Pipe: Carbon content ≤0.08%, higher overall strength, best cost-performance ratio.
Applications: No extensive on-site welding, low-temperature and normal-temperature environments, decorative railings, domestic water supply, general cooling pipelines, standard equipment racks.
Disadvantages: Thick walls and continuous high-temperature welding can lead to intergranular corrosion in the weld area; long-term contact with weak acids and humid heat media poses a risk of rust.
304L Low-Carbon Stainless Steel Pipe: Carbon content ≤0.03%, ultra-low carbon design inhibits chromium carbide precipitation during welding.
Advantages: No solution heat treatment required after welding; weld corrosion resistance is not reduced; extremely strong resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Applications: Pipelines with full welding construction, chemical weak acid pipelines, high-temperature heat exchange equipment, food and pharmaceutical cleanroom pipelines, outdoor coastal projects, long-term immersion conditions.
Disadvantages: Tensile strength is slightly lower than 304; procurement cost is slightly higher than 304.

Applicable Industries and Scenarios
304 Stainless Steel is sufficient for: Home/hotel water supply pipes, stair handrails, landscape railings, door and window decorations, general mechanical cooling pipes, low-pressure fluids at normal temperature, and non-welded small equipment supports.304L is preferred for: Food and beverage production lines, pharmaceutical cleanroom pipelines, chemical weak acid transportation, boiler heat exchange tubes, outdoor coastal municipal pipeline networks, large-scale welding projects, high-temperature steam pipelines, and long-term buried/submerged pipelines.
